Ouch-Med Occupational Urgent Care Health Service is a unique service that caters specifically to the Building Development and Worksite Construction industry. We work in collaboration with the onsite safety team and are equipped to provide immediate care for injuries including bone and soft tissue trauma.

The Ouch-Med facilities are staffed by Physician Assistants with more than 20+ years of experience specializing in Emergency, Orthopedics, and Sports Medicine. The Physician Assistants are supervised by Board Certified Physicians and Surgeons who are available at any time.

Once injuries are evaluated and if a sub-specialist is needed, one will be provided, most of which work with the majority of workman’s compensation plans. Approximately 95% of job site orthopedic injuries do not require surgery and can be treated without invasive procedures.

Spine and Neck Care

Many demands are placed on your spine. It holds up your head, shoulders, and upper body, it gives you support to stand up straight, gives you flexibility to bend and twist, and it also protects your spinal cord. Your spine is made up of three segments; the cervical spine, thoracic spine, and lumbar spine.

Your neck and back are made up of small bones, called vertebrae, which are stacked on top of one another with muscles, ligaments, nerves, and disks as additional parts of your spine. Musculoskeletal examination and imaging modalities allow our team to address your spinal issues.

Athletic Pubalgia and Sports Hernia

Sports Hernia is an injury characterized by pain in the groin, lower abdomen, and sometimes, the inner thigh, or “adductor region.” It usually occurs in athletes, but this is not always the case. The age range for a sports hernia is variable, but usually presents in people during high school or college, with a high frequency in professional athletes during their sports careers. There is no age limit to a sports hernia, however, and it should be attended to by a professional.

"When I was treated at ouchmed , they treated me like a person not another number. I was examined the time that my appointment was set for in a clean friendly environment. As a Judo player and a Strength and Conditioning coach I know my body and was able to ask the intelligent questions which were answered in an appropriate manner. The answers were precise and extremely informative."

"I was a international competitor in the sport of Judo. Judo is a high impact sport. No one at the top level is 100% going into practice and tournaments. But with OUCH, I would come fairly close. I had crazy issues with my shoulder and knee."
